Turn a Cartoon Character into
Multiple Streams of Income

PHASE TWO
Funny cartoon airplaneNow that you have an idea, a niche market and character, you are ready to form and mold that character into your own creation. Take Proppy™, our example cartoon character and see a few idea of how you might use him.

Decide what merchandise you would like to market. In today's world there are literally hundreds of thousands of items in which you can imprint an image and sell to a niche market.

The top specialty items used in marketing today are t-shirts, mugs, greeting cards, bumper stickers, menus, hats, pens, magnets and more. The most popular uses for cartoon characters are for logos, t-shirts designs, embroidery, signage, website graphics, animation and an almost limitless number of other ideas.

Here is an example of how our cartoon airplane was turned into a fun pop art t-shirt design. We added angel wings, a background and copy to our design.

This fun cartoon t-shirt design can now be marketed to members of the Air Force, pilots and airplane lovers. We opened a Cafe Press store and added this design to our pop art collection. Let your imagination fly and see what you can come up with.

Another idea we had was to use this royalty free plane as a simple design which could be used as a fun coloring page for kids of any age. The color page could be used in school, at a daycare or in a restaurant.

We simply removed all color from the cartoon design and added the name to the bottom. All of our cartoon characters come in vector art which can be enlarged to coloring book size or even blown up to billboard size.

You really have no limit as to what you can do with any one of our characters.

Another idea we had for this character was to him it on a fabric or wallpaper design. Fabric can be turned into boxers, curtains, pillow covers or sheets. Wallpaper designs can be used to cover entire walls or used as fun border designs.

We reduced the cartoon, made multiple versions of it and made the image slightly transparent. This simple pattern works well for any kids fabric design. We even thought this design would work well as a scarpbooking pattern.

If you can think it, there is most likely someone out there that can produce it for you. The more original you are the better chance you will have making it in a very crowded but profitable business.

A few other design ideas are to use a character as part of a logo to be used on a website or on stickers.

Think of unique ways to use our characters and we're sure you will find unique ways of earning extra income. Let us know what ideas you come up with! We'd love to share them.

Phase three will talk about how to market that product once it is produced. Phase one and two should be considered the easy part. Marketing your idea and getting it in front of an audience takes time, effort and will power. This is the stage that will separate the talkers and the doers. If you have the determination to knock on doors and sell your product or the know-how on getting it in front of millions of people, we believe there is no limit as to what you can do with one of our characters.

Be sure and read stories of people just like you that took simple characters and turned them into million dollar businesses. Stories will appear on our knowledge page.
