A very interesting list.
I am trying to track down a cartoon character that might have been named Geeves or Jives that might have been in the newspapers / comic books circa early 1900′s.
A ( male ) cousin born in 1919 had the nickname Gigi. I was told someone commented he looked like a cartoon character of that period named Geeves or Jives or something like that.
Who is ” The Great Gazoo?
Any leads you can offer would be greatly appreciated.

Hey Dick, I searched through my comics and cartoon history books and have not found anything on Geeves or Jives. The Great Gazoo is the little green martian on The Flintstones. I’ll let you know if I run across anything.

Hey Gloria, I have not. Thanks for the added info. I have a very large book on the history of cartooning in which I’ll dive back about 50 years and see what I can come up with.
